Yup, I have… I wear them ALL THE TIME.  They are my “go to”summer shirt  I can wear them layered or alone, and I HEART THEM…

Target, oh Target, please please offer these next year too, or even better, offer women’s sizes with higher necklines and armholes!

Oooh, I also made another discovery this summer, for those of you familiar with the 5.7.9 clothing store(think teeny-bopper and a little trashy), they have AWESOME camis for $5.99!!!!!  I actually got a bunch $4 for $12 at the beginning of the summer.  It cracks me up that I am shopping at this store now, because back in high school (12+ years ago) I wanted to be able to shop in this store but couldn’t ’cause i didn’t fit in those sizes…  And now when I shop there, I know the girls are looking at me like, “why is this 30 something year old woman shopping in here?”, and I get a kick out of it!  Any who, the cami’s are SUPER long(which I need, I am 5′8″ and have a LONG torso),  and they have adjustable lingerie type straps, which means you can adjust the neckline!!!!  And it stays tight to your skin so their is no cleavage showing when you bend over.  I love them, they are WAY cheaper than the other ones I have found on modest clothing sites, and I really love that the finished edge looks a little more dressy than simple cotton.

So, if you are local, or if you have a 5.7.9 near you, STOCK UP.

I am lamenting the end of summer, but looking forward to seeing what great fall trends can work for us modest ladies…

I better not get started on school shopping for my girl who is now in a 6/7…. It makes me angry just thinking about what I have seen in stores for her, it makes me even more glad I sew!
