Fall is coming…I want these Jeans!

Oh, how I want these Jeans. Modbe just launched their 2009 edition of their “True Rise Denim”… and I am having Jean lust…
I have NEVER been a fan of the low, lower and lowest rise jeans that we have all been wearing FOREVER… I have a VERY long torso, matched with a small waist and large-ish hind quarters(think speed-skater, for the most accurate, yet slightly disturbing mental image of my body-type). So low rise for me, means that I am battling my jeans to not reveal some part of my back and/or buttock region. Even if I wear super -long camis. I have 3 young kids, battling my jeans is NOT on the top of my priority list of things to do.
So I want these jeans from Modbe….(the Naomi)

Their tag line is that they hold their shape and you don’t have to hold them up!
The London Jean has a little bit higher rise and are a little dressier:

my problem is that I am cheap… really, really cheap, as in most of my clothes come from G00dwill or garage sales(seriously) which for the most part I LOVE, but jeans are one of those things that you are probably going to either strike out completely on on the cheap, or make do with the low, lower and lowest scenario. I splurged a couple of years ago on Gap Curvy Low Rise,

(Still pretty low on the waist, huh?)
and they were a bit better because they came up a little higher in the back, but I spent a FORTUNE on them, and I didn’t love them….
So what about you? Anybody try the Modbe Denim yet?
What are you favorite Jeans?

Eeeek! They are expensive. But cute.
Oooh, I’m loving the looks of those London jeans. I may have to save up and splurge on that! Thanks for the link, I had never heard of this company before.
I want! One day if I ever drop this poundage I am going to invest in a few pairs of awesome jeans, at any price. It is worth it. they last forever. And nothing is more wonderful (and more difficult to find) than a well-fitting pair of jeans.
Hey! Great blog!! Would love it if you added my blog clothed much to your blogroll!
Thanks!

They are really cute jeans. I do like the Naomi ones best I think.
Hey thanks for the note on my blog. I love getting comments and knowing who is checking us out. I enjoyed reading your blog and loved some of your thoughts and ideas. In high school I was over the top modest but had no fashion sense (really) and since have been trying to find some form of the two (fashion and modesty) so i found your site very helpful. It is also good to know there are other women out there trying to do the same.
Thanks again for the “hello” and for the great advice.
Blessings,
Heather
Hi! My friend, Sal and I happened upon your blog today as we were working on a post for our own modesty blog. Those jeans are so cute! I’m cheap too, and I’ve found that some of the cutest and comfortable clothes can come used:-)
So I think this >

article found on the lovely Christa Taylor’s blog gives one very good reason why we should all save our pennies and buy the jeans anyway! I, for one, am very guilty of buying lots of not-so-fabulous items when I could by just a few AMAZING items.
I think I’m going to save up for those jeans!
